A lighting designer, Lucy has broad experience across the hospitality, education, retail, civic, and transport sectors. With a background in architecture, she brings a sense of curiosity and creativity to every project. She understands that good lighting can influence people’s mood and comfort levels. From considering commuters standing on a train platform early on a dark morning to patients in a waiting room or diners at a boutique restaurant, she strives to create an atmosphere that will enhance their experience.
Lucy works across all stages of lighting design—from developing concepts alongside architects and interior designers to overseeing documentation, specifications, and budgets, through to final on-site commissioning where every angle and intensity is fine-tuned. Her recent work includes the new Edith Cowan University precinct, a complex development blending learning and performance spaces.
Away from the world of lighting design, Lucy is a keen traveller and foodie. She also proudly holds the title of Chief Leash Holder and Ball Thrower for her dog, Tuna.
