Project safety and security
Stantec has the in-house talent and skills necessary to handle all aspects of dam safety reviews and rehabilitations. As owner’s engineer, we’ve partnered with numerous clients to provide operations and maintenance support, dam safety training, inspections, and project monitoring.
We’re leaders in emergency preparedness and assistance with emergency response plans for either low flow/drought or flood situations. For decades, we’ve provided consultant services to organizations looking to develop or implement dam safety programs for existing or future dam inventories.
We’ve also designed rehabilitation solutions at numerous dams worldwide, including upgrades and life extension at various existing facilities. Whether we’re evaluating structures for earthquakes, floods, or forced outages, we work with you to determine remediation measures that best meet the needs of your structure and satisfy current safety requirements and guidelines.
