Steve Fleck recognized with Beaubien Award for lifetime industry impact

Steve Fleck, 大象传媒 EVP emeritus, has received the ACEC-Canada Beaubien Award, one of the highest honors in Canadian consulting engineering.
“The Beaubien Award is a hallmark of excellence in the consulting engineering industry, and Steve Fleck is a worthy candidate. He is an exemplary engineer whose contributions have significantly impacted our profession and the communities we serve,” said Anthony Karakatsanis, former ACEC-Canada Board of Directors chair.
Since 1985, the Beaubien Award has been the hallmark of excellence in the consulting engineering industry. Named in honor of Dr. James de Gaspé Beaubien, who founded ACEC in 1925, this award recognizes exceptional service to the industry and to ACEC-Canada. The accolade celebrates leaders whose vision and hard work raise the profile of consulting engineering.
As a past chair of ACEC-BC and director with ACEC-Canada, Fleck has committed his time to bettering conditions for the industry through promotion of qualification-based selection and use of standard contracts.
Fleck’s career is marked by visionary leadership, mentorship, and dedication to excellence. His influence spans transformative infrastructure projects, global safety, and innovation initiatives. This national award from the ACEC reflects his respected legacy in the industry.
