Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, has bolstered its surveying capabilities with the addition of eight team members from , a survey and subsurface utility surveying company. The strategic group hire expands ´óÏó´«Ã½¡¯s Community Development team within the Southeastern US; the team will work out of ´óÏó´«Ã½¡¯s office in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Allied was founded in 2001 to provide preconstruction surveys to the North Carolina Department of Transportation and architecture and engineering firms. In 2004, it expanded to include subsurface utility surveying. Typical services include construction staking, rigorous American Land Title Association and National Society for Professional Surveyors surveys, boundary surveys, and topographic and utility-location services. They have also worked with the state¡¯s Park Service and Flood Mapping Program; the Cities of Greensboro and Winston-Salem; and other state, municipal, and institutional clients.
