With more than 30 years of design experience, Mark manages the design of major transportation projects for departments of transportation and toll road clients. His project design experience totals more than 50 miles (80 kilometres) of interstate reconstruction and numerous interchanges.
Since joining us, Mark has been focused on the I-83 North York Widening project in southcentral Pennsylvania for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). He is providing senior design oversight and focusing on constructability, value engineering and coordination between technical disciplines.
Mark’s experience has taught him that early coordination between design disciplines, identifying critical constraints, and understanding how a project impacts the local community and environment are the keys to successfully delivering large, complex transportation projects.
When he isn’t working on roads, Mark enjoys traveling on them and spending time exploring the outdoors.
