Shawn has almost 40 years of experience in multidisciplinary transportation construction management, project delivery, survey, and community development with the BC Public Service. He collaborates with the other transportation construction specialists to grow the sector, expand our client base, and continues promoting the safety culture within our teams. Having worked with both public and private clients, he has a 360-degree view of how each can work more effectively together.
Before joining us, Shawn was the director of the Highway 8 Reinstatement Program at the Ministry of Transportation and Transit (MOTT) following the 2021 atmospheric river event. He continued serving as the director of this project after joining us in 2023. In this role, he was responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team, providing strategic direction on response efforts, strategic plans, governance structure, due diligence, and business operations.
With a passion to learn every day, Shawn is driven to use and share that knowledge especially related to construction. ?He loves working with teams to deliver impactful projects across the transportation sector including airports, bridges, roadways, and ports.
Away from the office, you’ll find him enjoying the great outdoors of British Columbia, whether that be hiking, snowshoeing, or hunting.
