Starting out as a recreational diver, Dominick soon realized he could combine his enjoyment of diving with work. He has over a decade of experience as a topside and underwater inspection engineer. A licensed engineer in multiple states, a National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) team leader, and Association of Diving Contractors International (ADCI) certified diver, he specializes in planning and performing structural inspections of bridges and waterfront.
As an underwater team leader, Dominick oversees on-site inspections, performs above-water bridge inspections, and writes reports assessing conditions and recommending follow-up actions. One of his most rewarding projects was the Long Sault Dam Underwater Inspection, which integrated commercial diving, acoustic imaging, and remotely operated vehicle (ROV) work.
Outside of work, Dominick enjoys fishing, visiting museums, and walking to relax and recharge.
