A hands-on project manager, Carol spends part of her work week in the field alongside the inspectors so that she can observe their safety habits and provide on-site technical assistance.
For over 20 years, she has served as the project manager for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for field services and outdoor advertising (ODA). She supervises and manages daily operations and serves as contract administrator for the data collection team. Additionally, she provides guidance to FDOT ODA employees and field agents on the ODA database and U.S. Geological Survey maps. She also assists with the Georgia Department of Transportation’s ODA project.
Carol is a member of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials Committee on Right of Way, Utilities and Outdoor Advertising Control (AASHTO CRUO). She attends AASHTO’s annual conference to meet with ODA clients and learn about updates for federal highway regulations.
When she isn’t busy with her advisory services role, Carol enjoys being outdoors in her off hours. You’ll often find her boating, fishing, and doing just about anything involving water. She also enjoys traveling the US, exploring lighthouses, hiking, and finding antique treasures.
