Charlotte specializes in the delivery of early-stage energy and sustainability statements to support clients in the planning process. With a background in sustainability and pre-planning, she delivers energy and sustainability statements, daylight and sunlight assessments, and environmental impact assessment climate change support.
A regular commentator on emerging policy requirements—especially relating to the London Plan and its impact on the London boroughs—Charlotte develops strategies to meet both adopted and emerging policy in a commercially viable way. She’s advised on many developments and residential schemes, from Hunts Wharf, a residential development in Hackney, to a multi-phase mixed-use regeneration scheme in Stonebridge for the London Borough of Brent. She also provided an energy strategy for a new net zero carbon mixed use development in Bicester at Himley Village.
In recognition of her work to shape a strategy for sustainable design, climate adaptation, and well-being on a town centre regeneration scheme in Mansfield in the East Midlands, Charlotte won an international RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) competition in 2023. When she isn’t making our communities more sustainable, you’ll probably find Charlotte weight training in her home gym or running around after her two children.
