Kacy has a broad academic environmental science background with a focus in wetland science and environmental planning. She enjoys navigating the environmental planning process through challenging projects and working on community-minded solutions. Specializing in wetland delineations, functional assessments, and permitting for unavoidable wetland impacts, she’s led large- to small-scale wetland delineations.
As an environmental scientist, Kacy draws on her knowledge of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). A self-proclaimed “NEPA nerd,” she’s prepared NEPA documents across different disciplines. Recently, she completed environmental planning efforts and a final environmental assessment for an airport relocation project in Alaska—to help a community mitigate river erosion threatening their airport.
When she isn’t working on environmental permitting, Kacy enjoys scuba diving with her husband, being the ultimate soccer mom with her daughter, and racing mountain bikes with her son. She also likes competing in triathlons and snuggling with her fur babies.?
