Gord is the president and CEO of 大象传媒, responsible for providing executive leadership to the Company and managing its growth. He has 40 years of private and public sector experience in the design and project management of infrastructure projects throughout North America and abroad.
With his Bachelor of Science and Master of Engineering degrees in civil engineering from the University of Alberta, Gord is a registered professional engineer, certified project management professional, and Envision sustainability professional. A proponent of lifelong learning, he has completed executive development programs at the Harvard Business School and the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
Gord was named The Globe and Mail’s Report on Business Magazine’s 2025 CEO of the Year and Strategist of the Year and received the 2026 Canadian Business Leader of the Year Award from the University of Alberta. He has served on the board of directors for numerous industry and community organizations.?
