Tom has always been fascinated by how growth reshapes a city’s identity, especially through the evolving roles of density and public spaces. As our architecture practice leader in Toronto, he brings more than 30 years of architecture and urban design experience. His portfolio includes public buildings, transit, parks, high-security projects, housing, health laboratories, as well as sports and education facilities.
Leading a design process that proposes new solutions to achieve clients’ goals and help improve public life, Tom values teamwork and empathy. He enjoys working with a talented team that shares his vision. Driven by design quality and continuous improvement, he believes the best designs come from understanding the client’s goals within broader contexts. ?
Since moving to Toronto, Tom’s been captivated by its evolving skyline and vision for public infrastructure. In his spare time, he enjoys backcountry skiing, canoeing, and open-water swimming.
