With?a background in water resources engineering, Ailsa has always enjoyed combining technical work and advisory services, helping clients find solutions through both engineered solutions and the identification of funding opportunities. She?supports US and Canadian corporations, counties, municipalities, and utilities with her work.
As the lead for our Canada West North America Funding Program?group, Ailsa tracks and clarifies federal policy to aid our clients in closing the gap on their project costs, matching them with provincial and federal funding sources. She has experience with numerous top Canadian funds, such as the Green and Inclusive Community Building and the Disaster Mitigation and Adaption Fund, as well as provincial and lending institution funds, like the Alberta Water for Life Fund.?Most recently, she assisted the County of Maui in charting their path to disaster recovery by identifying and prioritizing infrastructure projects across multiple departments.
Ailsa enjoys exploring British Columbia, giving back her community in Vancouver, and spending time with her family. She’s looking forward to completing another skate ski marathon in the coming year.
