Jonathan draws on his multidisciplinary background in architecture and urban design to design civic buildings, affordable housing, and master plans across Canada. With a passion for innovation, he’s recognized as a driver of change in the industry—encouraging architects to do more to positively influence the future.
Away from his work designing functional, sustainable projects, Jonathan has designed award-winning public art as part of a pilot project on climate resiliency and adaptation strategies. He regularly supports future designers as a sessional instructor and studio critic at both the University of Calgary and the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
Committed to furthering conversations on design in the community, Jonathan also volunteers with Urban Land Institute (ULI) Alberta as a board member and is a panel member on the Edmonton Design Committee. He has also served on several councils and boards, most notably for the Alberta Association of Architects and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
