Nick’s civil engineering experience spans across the delivery of drinking water and stormwater infrastructure, as well as traffic design and project management. He believes his work designing improvements to stormwater management is particularly important due the growing effects of climate change in New Zealand and multiple flooding events in recent years.
Recently, Nick drew on experience from all aspects of his career during the design of a new care village. The project required combining stormwater treatment and highway design to overcome challenging ground conditions and implement complex sewer requirements.
Outside of work, Nick loves heading into the South Island mountains for skiing and hunting. He’s also active in promoting Men’s Health causes and raising funds for the international Movember Foundation, earning him induction into the Movember Foundation NZ Hall of Fame.
