Jim has more than thirty years of experience in pipeline engineering and project leadership. He’s managed large oil and gas pipeline projects across Canada and the US that include steam-assisted gravity drainage, hot bitumen, carbon capture, hydrogen, water and distribution utility pipelines. Deeply involved in development of pipeline codes, he’s also helped shape industry standards and regulations for hydrogen and carbon dioxide.?
Maintaining a strong technical focus throughout his storied career, Jim enjoys supporting conventional energy and finding new opportunities for pipeline projects around the world. A memorable accomplishment for Jim involved leading a carbon capture network project in northern Alberta—one of the largest projects of its kind in the world.
When he isn’t leading pipeline projects, Jim enjoys playing field hockey and spending time outdoors. He’s an avid photographer and bears are his favorite subjects.
