Curiosity can spark a lifelong adventure. Michelle turned her childhood curiosity, fed by National Geographic, into 20-plus years of boots-on-the-ground experience in geology and mining. Focused on identifying, delineating, and supplying the minerals and metals the world needs, she finds fieldwork both critical and personally rewarding.
Stepping out of her boots and into the office, Michelle builds strategy and drives operational performance of a large multidisciplinary team. Guided by her motto: “People first, safety always,” she thrives on teamwork, collaboration, and removing barriers for the teams she supports.
When she isn’t busy managing teams or mining related efforts, Michelle is a proud taxi mom and dedicated member of Girl Guides of Canada—fully engaged in the communities she serves.
