Transatlantic Rising Stars Project Support
Cultural and creative industries are a significant part of the European economy, employing millions of people and contributing substantially to economic growth. With the Transatlantic Rising Stars Project (TRSP), the European Union has appointed our team to leverage new cooperation channels with the United States in the fields of visual arts, music, and film.
Within this people-to-people program, we organize residencies and visits for EU artists to the US. We connect them with cultural and creative industry leaders, host events to help them interact with local communities, and facilitate their participation in film and music festivals and art exhibitions. The program also aspires to cocreate opportunities with US artists. Additionally, we enhance the visibility of TRSP with social media and by engaging with interested parties to promote artists and synergies with project activities.
Through this cultural diplomacy effort, the EU hopes to foster mutually beneficial professional relationships and promote diverse creativity between artists on both sides of the Atlantic.?
