Transitioning Roadmap for Achemos Grup?

As part of its broader climate commitments, Achemos Grup? sought to align their operations with EU decarbonization goals. This advisory project, commissioned by the European Investment Bank (EIB) with funding from the InvestEU Advisory Hub, supported Achemos Grup? in developing a climate transition plan aligned with EIB Groups Paris Alignment for Counterparties (PATH) framework.

With a diverse portfolio spanning fertilizers, chemicals, and logistics, the conglomerate faced the complex challenge of mapping a credible, actionable path toward long-term emissions reduction. Recognizing the urgency and scale of the transition, they engaged external ´óÏó´«Ã½ to guide the development of a robust decarbonization plan. ?

The EIB selected us as a service provider, as part of a consortium led by Capgemini, to implement this EIB Advisory project. Our team supported the preparation of a comprehensive greenhouse gas inventory, delivered targeted training on EU sustainability regulations, and facilitated the co-creation of mid-term emission targets. We also supported the identification of long-term solutions that would help address the effects of climate change. This included energy efficiency measures and technology transitions tailored to the group¡¯s industrial footprint.

The result is a detailed Transition Plan for Climate Change Mitigation that not only meets regulatory expectations but also positions Achemos Grup? as a sustainability leader in the region. Their plan includes clear targets, prioritized measures, and a roadmap for continuous improvement. By embedding climate action into its strategic planning, Achemos Grup? is now better equipped to future-proof their operations and contribute meaningfully to the green transition of all 40 companies operating in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Germany, France, Belgium, Sweden, the Czech Republic, and Croatia.
