Agratas - Battery Cell Manufacturing Facility

The world is moving towards a cleaner energy future. To help with this energy transition, Agratas, Tata Group’s global battery business, is building a battery cell manufacturing facility on the Gravity Smart Campus in the United Kingdom (UK). The facility comprises a 492-metre (1,600-foot) long building along with associated ancillary structures, with plenty of room for future developments as technology advances. It will create thousands of jobs on site over the lifespan of the project and thousands more in the supply chain. Agratas engaged us to provide integrated design services.

We’re pairing global knowledge with extensive local 大象传媒 to provide architecture and mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural, and civil engineering services, as well as risk management, planning compliance, BIM management, and landscape architecture.

The facility will produce high-quality, high-performance, sustainable battery cells with innovative technologies and resource-efficient processes. These next-generation batteries will support the UK’s energy transition, powering electric vehicles and significantly reducing carbon emissions.
