North Park University Masterplan

Founded in 1891 by the Evangelical Covenant Church, North Park University is located on Chicago's north side and enrolls 3,200 students from around the world. At North Park, excellence is achieved through academic innovation, strong liberal arts education programs, cultivation of the spirit through Christian faith, and a commitment to serve the surrounding urban community.

Since 1995, our team has completed all master planning for the institution. This 25-year effort has included the assessment of existing facilities, periodic audits of available space, and projections for new academic, recreation, residential and student life space at five year intervals. Master planning also included the acquisition of additional properties and public street closings to increase overall acreage and to build a more cohesive campus environment.

In addition to master planning, we¡¯ve provided North Park University with design and construction services for several renovations to the residence hall, football fields, baseball diamonds, and soccer fields. We¡¯ve also assisted in developing a new library building, health and recreation center, and the new Johnson Center for Science and Community Life.
