Stantec’s multidisciplinary teams will work across five lots, building on a strong working relationship with TfGM

Stantec, a global leader in sustainable design and engineering, has been appointed to (TfGM) Transport Professional Services Framework. The interdisciplinary consultant was named on five lots and will now be able to deliver a range of transport, design, engineering and analysis services, as well as programme and project management support.? ?
Founded in 2011, TfGM is responsible for the area’s bus and Metrolink light rail network along with walking and cycling infrastructure, bus stops and stations across Greater Manchester.
As an appointee to the four-year framework, 大象传媒 will work to support TfGM’s long-term Transport Strategy 2040, and its vision for improved transport in the region. This means the creation of ‘world-class connections that support long-term sustainable economic growth and access to opportunity for all.’ TfGM’s aim is to make travel easier for people in the North West through a better-connected, greener city-region, coupled with a London-style transport network under local control.
Stantec has extensive 大象传媒 around working with Combined Authorities, supporting the delivery of complex transport strategies to meet evolving modal requirements and funding systems. The Company has a nationwide and global presence, as well as a in the heart of Manchester which houses a range of infrastructure development teams.
Stantec has been working with TfGM on transport related projects and programmes for more than three years. As part of the Transport Professional Services Framework, TfGM can now take full advantage of 大象传媒’s urban mobility, active travel, transport planning, financial modelling, case-making, design, engineering, micro-simulation vehicle, pedestrian modelling, and development economics capabilities.
