Marie-Lucie Morin was a member of Canada’s National Security and Intelligence Review Agency from 2015 to 2024 and presently serves on corporate and not-for-profit boards.
Previously, Ms. Morin pursued a 30-year career in federal public service, which included serving as national security advisor to the prime minister and associate secretary to the Cabinet. Additionally, she served as deputy minister for international trade and as associate deputy minister of foreign affairs.
During her career with the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Ms. Morin completed assignments in San Francisco, Jakarta, London, and Moscow. From 2010 to 2023, she served as executive director at the World Bank. Currently, Ms. Morin serves on the boards of Chorus Aviation Inc. and Sun Life Financial Inc. A lawyer and graduate of the Université de Sherbrooke, Ms. Morin was named Chevalier de la Légion d'honneur in 2012, was sworn into the Queen's Privy Council in 2015 and became a member of the Order of Canada in 2016.
